However I didn't want to wait around for 3 months so I went to the library yesterday and checked out The Gerson Therapy so that I could know exactly what I have to do and hopefully get started. Aaron's parents have a juicer, I don't think it's a masticating juicer but it's gotta be better than nothing right? At least I can get my tastebuds used to a super bland diet. I think I'm going to follow their breakfast and lunch plan and then do regular dinner with the hubs. I'll try to make dinner healthy too though. So basically it's fresh squeezed orange juice and oatmeal for breakfast, baked potato, apple-carrot juice, salad, and "special soup" for lunch. I'll throw in green juice somewhere in there too, maybe for dinner.
Even though I don't have cancer or any degenerative disease, which is what the Gerson Therapy is used for, there are still a few benefits I would like to achieve. I would like to...
Have more energy
Not be constipated
Have better skin
Have fewer headaches, or any kind of ache for that matter
Oh and did I mention coffee enemas? Yup! You are required to do coffee enemas to pull the toxins out of your body. So that should be real fun. I'm hoping to pick up my supplies this weekend and start next Monday. I'll post again once I start.
